MMD has announced the release of its Patient Individual Educational System (P.I.E.™). The P.I.E. Software uses DVD technology to do patient teaching in clinical and home settings. We have just completed an animated sequence for the DOD for training military and civilian service technicians on a weapons sub-system.

MMD has completed a 10 minute instructional overview video on the insertion of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters. The video will be part of an online certification program for PICC Insertion directed at Registered Nurses. On Tuesday we suffered a catastrophic power failure when our utility feed's grounding wire failed following a severe electrical storm. With the ground failure, 240v was fed directly into our 120v circuits which destroyed the power supplies on all our computer equipment along with our 2000 watt UPS. We currently have one computer back up and running but our animation and digital video network is still down. Also our phone system was destroyed so if you have problems contacting us, please try again or use 812-480-8413 which is a cell phone number.
