PIE™ Patient Individual Education

PIE is a custom DVD based application designed to deliver educational content to patients. PIE is perfect for situations where standardized content must be delivered to a large base of patients. Examples would include informed consent education on standardized procedures, home bound patients with PICC's and infusion pumps or any number of other situations.

PIE offers numerous advantages and significant cost savings. First costly clinical personnel are not tied up presenting the bulk of the material to the patient resulting in more effective use of clinical staff. Secondly, patients receive the same information, which will meet and most often exceed applicable standards. In addition PIE can support multiple language and subtitle tracks, making it effective for foreign language speaking patients and or patients with hearing loss.

PIE uses inexpensive portable DVD players, which may be purchased anywhere.
