Programming
MMD can provide a full range of programming services for speciality applications. Historically our focus has been in two areas. We have extensive experience developing web based applications such as software for testing/grading and recording online training programs. Either in conjunction with other web based server applications or as stand alone units. Previous and current efforts have been included online testing/grading and recording software for distance learning, web-casting, and online database servers. Non-Web based programming has focused on expert-systems both knowledge based and neuro-net applications. An example of a current project is our attempts to develop a nuero-net patient outcome system which will monitor variables in patient care. The function of the program is two fold, first to alert clinical personnel of issues which may occur as well as pinpoint problem areas for clinical managers. This experimental project is being developed under grant with stage one composed of small scale data collection and training of the software. If successful, we will begin larger scale clinical trials of the software for evaluation. A new project beginning 2nd quarter 2002 is the implementation of PDA software for clinical practitioners.
