Web
Design
Multi-Media
Design began designing web sites approximately 4 months after the web
was implemented. In those days many browsers were text only and the
web was a much smaller community. Since those early days, we have designed
web sites from 2 page business card type sites to mega sites containing
a thousand plus pages and receiving 4,000,000 page requests per month. Our basic design concept is based on a key principle. The Web is Information Driven! What that means is that the vast majority of Web users are seeking specific information. It is our job to take information about you and your products or services and place them online in a manner which will increase your business. We do this by remembering these points:
However, meeting these goals and getting the site online is only half the job. At Multi-Media, we understand that web sites live and die by links. We will typically spend an appreciable percentage of a web sites production time getting links for our customers. Although our general approach to web design is based on keeping the layout simple and easily navigable, that isn't to say we are incapable of providing leading edge services. At Multi-Media Design we are constantly exploring the edge of web technology. We have designed, programed and implemented a number of sites which make extensive use of database interfacing, E-Commerce and interfacing with PDA applications. Joined with our animation capabilities we can provide media rich and user personalized web sites using the latest technology and tools. On the business side of web commerce, we have a proven track record of building web sites which produce results, sometimes spectacular returns on investments. We have found that the dollar investment made on a web site has absolutely no correlation to how well it will function as a business tool. What is an indicator, is the ability of a web site to provide useful information and provide easy paths for customers to transact business with you! For an example of our work, please visit the ResourceNurse.Com Web Site; the #1 Nursing source on the web. If you
are contenplating your own web server, please review our white
paper on the subject. Multi-Media
